Why Fertilization is Important / Impamvu Ifumbire ari ngombwa

Avocado trees need essential nutrients like Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) to develop healthy roots, leaves, and fruit. Without fertilization, trees grow slowly, leaves become yellow, and fruit production drops significantly. Fertilization is feeding the tree so it can feed you.

3. Amazi avanze n’imborera (compost tea) n’ibyatsi byumye (mulch): bifasha ubutaka kugumana amazi no kongera udukoko dufasha mu mikurire.

How to Fertilize Avocado Trees Effectively / Uburyo bwo Gufumbira neza ibiti by’Avoka

1. Measure about 30–60 cm from the base of the tree to avoid root burn.
2. Dig a shallow circular trench around the tree.
3. Spread fertilizer evenly in the trench.
4. Cover lightly with soil.
5. Water the tree to help nutrients absorb into the soil.
