As we prepare for the rainy season, our team is conducting training sessions with farmers to demonstrate how to correctly apply organic manure to avocado trees.

Why Organic Fertilizer Matters

Using animal manure not only improves the soil structure but also enriches it with essential nutrients. Organic manure enhances water retention, encourages root development, and sustains the tree for long-term productivity.

The Correct Method

During the training, farmers are taught the proper spacing for applying manure. From the base of the avocado tree, a circular space of 60 centimeters by 60 centimeters (60 cm radius) should be left. This ensures that the manure does not burn the roots while allowing nutrients to be absorbed effectively.

Manure should be evenly spread around the circle and lightly covered with soil to protect it from being washed away by rain. This method helps the avocado tree grow stronger and produce better quality fruits.
